Walking Through Wednesday *New* ~August 31, 2011

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome and walk with me through another great day, Today is your day!  You make the smile from your heart and share it with everyone but always share the first one with yourself!  Your day will go much better and practice does make perfect.

So last day of a formatted post.  In the future the post will have its title but no mention of the day within the post.  The line up for each day will have a theme but not necessarily a formatted title.  Tomorrow is day one of the new month and I will share with you then the flow and intentions.

But for today a walk through Wednesday and the last day of August 2011. 

What ever happened in your month walk with your head held high, looking ahead not with your eyes looking down.  If you look out far enough in front you will still be able to prevent most problems.  But you also will have the sky and the horizon in your sight.

Looking down does little for the spirit, and nothing for the heart.

Smile and share that first smile with that morning mirror.

Love and share that with all even those who may hurt or dismay you.

Share in the Gratitude that resonates in your soul.

Pray to God for wisdom and direction in your daily activities and forgive those who may have hurt you.  They really have no control of your spirit and soul, only you can allow them to harm you.

Take Charge Tuesday *New* ~ August 30, 2011

A very happy Tuesday sent out to you today : )  Almost the end of August and a new month, with new challenges, new visions and new opportunities.


May this month ahead be your month!


I don't often or have not often shared to much personal happenings in my life on here.  In fact starting in September I probably will share even less in my daily posts.  These posts are meant to inspire and entertain not share the stuff I am going through.  I write out of inspiration and not what I am experiencing at any given moment.


My wife, my love Janice has decided to move on and move back to MI.  There I said it. Yep, done shared and yes I am indeed saddened, angry, upset, sleepless, unexplainable to my logic and common sense.  I personally can't explain it other than she misses her family, ie. her son.


Now my feeling is her son chose to leave her before I came in the picture and she came because of what she saw and new from prior experiences with me. She made some vows last October to marry me, honor, share, in sickness and in health ....oh stop .....never mind that not many people honor those vows anymore.


Oh sure they do if they were raised in the 30's and 40's maybe the 50's but something happened to America in the 60's.  Marriage has become a new wallet to hold pictures and memories and discard when it become old or faded. Marriage has become like a women's purse fashionable when it goes with the event or outfit but discarded for something else later on.  How sad.....


So on my heart will go, flow but not cease of course.  The pain of heartache is unexplainable but of course songs have been made, movies produced and words written to explain it but only if your in the trench of a current outbreak can you understand that those forms of explanation fall short.


I thank those on Face Book who comforted me yesterday, your messages, chats helped me and I value your friendship.  Thank you.



So back to the post.... Taking Charge is the message and of course in September the format or titles will change but this last Tuesday in the month we shall stick with empowerment of taking charge.

Every morning I give my heart to God, in prayer and in thought.  It keeps me focused and gives me a sense of his strength and outlook for our lives.

God created us to be happy, strong, independent and interdependent of him and his word.  Plain and simple and very clear in his instruction.

His word has that power to instruct and I seek his direction and will for my life daily.

The word overcome came to me last night.  What a interesting dual intent word.

Lets define (Collins English Dictionary)

overcome

1. to get the better of in a conflict

2. often passive - to render incapable or powerless by laughter, sorrow, exhaustion, etc. he was overcome by fumes

3. to surmount (obstacles, objections, etc.)

4.  to be victorious

What a dual word you can overcome in victory and be overcome with defeat.

You can overcome a sickness or illness or be overcome with the same.

Its not like the word Victory, or Good and contrasted bad.

A very unique word that begs for other words to explain its meaning.  How powerful this word but how weak the absence of others to help in its development.

My thoughts for my day to day is to overcome in the positive sense,  Overcome objections in the process of selling, Overcome any heartache in the process of healing.

May smiles be plentiful for you all this day.

May love find you and the simplest of ways.

Monday Motivational Moment *New* 08/29/11

Happy Monday to you all! Smiles dispatched your way today and everyday for that matter.  You just have to grab yours as you look in morning mirror.  A smile will have an impact on you and others.


So the last week of the month.....wow, labor day is a week a way and summer is almost done.


Hurricane Irene has been sent out to sea and for the most part left behind power outages and flooding mostly in the small towns and not the major cities as feared.  The clean up begins and many prayers go out for a return to normal for all involved.


This Thursday is the first of the month and a time to review and rewrite your goals.  A goal should be clear and have structure to it.  A goal driven live is perhaps the best way to improve and stay growing.  It has been said if your not growing your dyeing.  Of course we are all dyeing but who needs to speed it up.

Staying in Focus on Sunday *New* 08/28/11

A very happy Sunday to you ! ! Smiles sent your way as always.


This day is yours and keeping focus of that fact is key.  Make a difference with your focus, your thoughts and your actions.


This will be the last 'Staying in Focus on Sunday' post in this format. I will continue to write and share with the intention to entertain, educate and inspire you.  Those are my goals and I will stay focused on that as I always have.  I will share more on the changes on Thursday, Sept. 01.

Sizzling Saturday *New* August 27, 2011

Happy Saturday everyone and the last in the series on the word 'sizzle'.  

Starting with the new month I unwrap a new format for each day.  I hope to share it with you next Thursday but each day will have a purpose for your spirit but no longer will I label them by the day of the week.  You could read them any day and get what you need from them. So I hope you look forward to that.

My last question for you on this topic of sizzling is this.  When you enter the room, or get with a friend do you bring a sizzle with you?

Do you sizzle? or Do you fizzle?

Heck no one wants to fizzle, no one wants to be a drag, a downer.

But some are, sad to say some are.

So how would one sizzle as they enter a conversation, a room?

Three Steps

A smile of the heart and spirit

Eyes wide open with energy and direct eye contact to whom ever you speak with.

Head up, shoulders back and a walk with purpose.

Thats it!

A smile that brings life to a conversation.  People ache to be around good news, they so sadly come upon bad news way to often.  The average person does not need any more drama in their life.  So bring a smile instead.

Eyes, the windows to the soul, they speak even before words are spoken.

That walk, that says I have arrived, not the strut of a peacock or rooster but the confident walk that says I belong here, I can and will add value and not take away value.

Always add Value to another person.

Fun Filled Friday *New* August 26, 2011

Happy Friday to you all : )  My goal this day is of course to give you a chuckle or a laugh and since your here reading this lets chuckle together.

Now for the joke about the cat who went to heaven:


Once upon a time, there was a cat who died. When she got to heaven, God asked her how she liked being on earth. She told the Lord that it was awful, she had to sleep in cold back alleys where there was no food and life was hard. God told her that he was sorry it had had turned out that way but here, in heaven, she would be happy and He would give her the most comfortable, warm pillow to sleep on. The cat laid down upon the pillow and was happy.


A few days later, about a dozen mice that came to heaven together and God asked them how they had liked earth. Earth was no better for them than it was the cat.


They explained to God that it was tough and exhausting and their feet were worn out from always running from cats and dogs and people. God felt bad for the mice and decided to give them rollerskates.


One day God sees the cat again and asked her how she was liking heaven. She explained that it was absolutely wonderful. The pillow he gave her was the most comfortable place that she had ever slept on, but even better than the pillow were the meals on wheels.


LOL...Meals on wheels indeed.....

Thoughtful Thursday *New* August 25, 2011

Happy Thursday to you!  Smiles to you across the miles and my wish for you is that the smile I send stays with you the whole day not just for the moment.

No matter the moment a smile helps lift the spirit of anyone and we should always look on the bright side of life.

Something to ponder on today.  Should be easy to be thoughtful if you lived by these principles.  Always looking at the brighter side of life.
