Historic and philosophical the art and skill of eastern Kintsugi can surely teach us much.  The art of respecting the broken and putting the pieces back together instead of just discarding can teach us the same about our life and how life happens and many time we feel broken. Maybe just maybe this art of Kintsugi can teach us to work on the process of ignoring the fragmentation and allowing the process of self love, self growth and self assurance that failures and lessons are more beneficial than smooth waters that never truly challenge us.

Struggles are everywhere, and from every time zone.  The struggle for tens of thousands that lost someone on 9/11.  They ask the why me often.  The struggles for those who could not be with someone as the crossed over from a pandemic virus.  They wish or hoped for one last goodbye or one last I love you.  The struggles for the families in Colorado this past week as they just wanted to get an errand crossed off their list.  A father of 7 who tried to protect and serve his community and make it home another day who just got taken away for too soon.  WE all often ask why, why me how will I survive this latest struggle.  We will because here lies another day in front of us and we are strong.  That day is today.  Be strong!  Love thyself, be proud of who you are.

 Dare if you will to expect better from our leaders.  Those who we elect to protect our laws and rules.  Those who adapt to changing times.  We need to believe in common sense laws, common sense relief and adaptation for those with mental health issues.  Common sense approaches to Gun Laws, we don't allow nuclear weapons for the common man do we?  Do we allow RPG's for the common man I imagine they would take out a deer or bear from a few miles away.  No we have much to offer all of us.  If we only dare to believe in expecting the best from ourselves, our family and maybe hope for better by demanding better.

Trust in your instincts and don't lower your standards

Many voices make changes and our world has shown that time and time again

 The ability to understand another's senses, needs, hopes desires is becoming a lost effort.  We find a way to abolish everything, fight over a vaccine, or hate a color or kind of human that belongs here just as much as another.  We want to own weapons of mass destruction and claim it to be a right.  We ignore those who have mental illness and had them freedoms and concealment without any aide to develop relief from their illness.  Oh but why?  Oh to sigh.

Call it all hope

Hope for the better for others across the empty design of distance

Expect the Best from within our invisible walls of sanity

A wish to have love abound

To have kindness shared a normal thing

To accept our differences that are not so different at all

To put grace and appreciated ahead of our fall

To rise up and gather the energy and focus
