Motivation is the reason we do something.

In order to act upon something we need to be motivated be someone or something.

Often we are so busy we forget to take care of self

It is truly good to push ourselves out of our comfort zone but 

do it in a way that is healthy for our mind and spirit.

Be kind to yourself and don't compare yourself to others

Better to compare yourself to yesterday and say I am better and I continue to grow!

Pray, Be Thankful and Meditate

Enjoy the journey

Love the progress

Dream of future growth

Plan and execute wisely but always appreciate the path you have taken!

We should never be afraid of tomorrow.  It will bring challenges of course, maybe even some we dread thinking about and pray that never happen but to be afraid of tomorrow, never.

To many good things are missed when we are afraid or fear our tomorrow's.

Good things are meant to happen but sometimes we get in the way of noticing them.

It is true.

So the next time your lay your head down to sleep, have no fear for tomorrow. It will come whether you fear it or accept it.  It will come.  So enjoy the night, sleep well, say a prayer, give thanks because today and right now is all we can appreciate.

Gratitude for tomorrow you bet.  Better to be grateful for tomorrow than fear it.  Better to thank our creator for tomorrow than worry that it will not bring the joy and smiles that we should bring anyway.

Bad stuff will happen in life.  Does not discriminate it just comes.

But how we deal with it, matters most.

The bridge we cross will always have dangers.  But better to cross a bridge and seek adventure than stay in seclusion and find nothing.

Live more, laugh even more and smile always.

Dream big, and sleep well with no worries about tomorrow.  Its coming and plan on the joy not the grief.

Yes its official I have the flu.  Yuck, I feel like yuck.....lol but I still smile as I type this out to you.

Why?  Because it goes away this flu, now I don't if you have any advice for me but the one advice I can give you if you get this flu bug is the following :

Rest

Sleep more

Sleep some more

drink fluids

take flu medicine

eat chicken noodle soup

Feel free to add to this list.

This is supposed to be a short Saturday night post so I can get some rest, did I mention I feel yucky...lol

But still I smile and still I send smiles out to you : )

Hello friends, just a short post today.  Not feeling very well.  Maybe coming down with the flu.  Will try to sweat it out tonight going to bed soon.  But using it as fuel for the journey.

I surely hope you can embrace this quote.  So many of us have more problems than just a flu and fever.  So many have real pain and I hope you can use it as fuel to propel you forward.

How do we use our gratitude and positive attitude to hide our anger, or depression or sadness.  We just do, we realize that so much is good in our life, so much life, so much hope and promise that is given from our creator.

Focus on the positive.

Focus on the love of your family.

Focus on your home, your pets, your friends.

Take time to pray and meditate and listen.

Take time to get yourself in sunlight and in nature.

Listen to your spirit

Listen to the energy that surrounds you.

Listen to the birds and nature that exists for all of us.

This is your steps, take time to take care of your most precious gift.

They have been called many things energy vampires, chiggers, (those little bugs that dig under your skin), and other things that are not G or PG rated.  So lets move on from them, shall we? LOL : )

But in the end they are really nothing, we give them power to enter our perception field.  Don't we though?  We give them power to disrupt our wave lengths of happiness and joy.

  We give them power to disrupt our imagination and wonder and awe.

Yes we do.....so why do we do it?

It is easier to blame them for our misfortune.  Maybe.

It is human nature to complain instead of ignore. Maybe again.

It is more human to tear down another instead of build them up.

Lets hope not for our own sake.

No I think its pure ignorance on our part to pay attention to ourselves and understand that they are truly nothing unless we give them that attention and power to disrupt us.

It happens to the best of us.  But we can change that can't we?

YES WE CAN and YES WE MUST : )

If we are to proceed down our pathway of love, joy, laughter and happiness we can't let another downer or demon get in our way.

It is to laugh that what we want and get is often not what effort we put out to get there.

Why is that?

Many people think that we do things out of pleasure and the desire to have more or pain and the desire to avoid it.

I buy that for some part.  But often people can look at their life and understand that we can decide to make our union more perfect in a second, a minute, a day or a week but we have to understand that we choose.  Period.

Great book and movie of the same title. How true this dialogue. Hate has more of a curved blade than we think. Often when we do hate another person they don't know it, and if they do know it they don't even care.

What a waste of emotion. What a serious misfortune that so many make. To allow hatred to eat away at your spirit. To let hate waste so much love, so much creative energy. For what and for who? So sad.

My friends think about yourself before you hate another person.

Take time to really think about your wasted seconds, minutes and hours that you waste when you throw out hate into the world. Your world is indeed wasted.

Stop and let go and move on ..... Move forward and let the hate slip away like the wind blows away the leaves, or the clouds go drifting by the wind from above.

That is a long quote huh?   But how true.  We will stumble and come up short at times.  Not all the time mind you but life is a series of waves.  Sometimes your riding the wave other times the wave is crashing on in.  Why is that?

Well for one thing the world is full of cause and effect.  What we put out will always have an effect.  Just like what we don't put out will have an effect or counter effect if we should have done something.  Did you catch that?

Listen to your spirit, if you feel like your supposed to do something and you ignore it well you will have an effect.  The cause was the lack of taking action.

Take time to listen to your energy.  Take time to respond to your calls to action. If it does not work, it does not mean just give up it means rework the plan and find another way.

What a concept huh?  It can happen.  Don't worry about the future, if you can say you life to help, to make a difference, to share love, to share a kind word or deed.  Then how much grief are you in that very moment.

Life happens with out a doubt if your not in some form of failure or set back one is coming.  But it is not the set back that matters or hurts us it is always the way we respond to that set back.

How do you listen to the energy that surrounds you?

What time to you give to listen in silence and truly understand your motive and intentions.

When do you start or will you start to listen and care about this moment and listen with focused intent to what values and intentions you truly want to fulfill.

Take the time to think on this quote.  Even our eyelids work better with our eyes, the blink and keep them moist, clean and enable us to see better.  Try talking with your jaw closed completely or open completely.

We are designed to work and built to cooperate in this world.

Teamwork.  If you watched any of the football this weekend no one worked alone to win or lose the games.  They worked together.

So why is there so many divorces?

Why do so many families break up and go in opposite directions?

How do we learn our roles when so many people tell us to redefine our roles.

Why do children take their lives at such a startling rate ?

Why don't we take time out to really understand their challenges and their fears?

Questions that we need to understand the consequences of if we don't start to address our current way of life.

We are built and designed to work together and not alone.

Last year gave me a lot of challenges.  Challenges I am still working through.  I pray everyday for wisdom and strength to be a better member of this world.  A better father, a better co worker, a better provider, a writer that will be more clear with our mission.

Launched in March of 2009 the words came freely when I wrote that mission statement.  Life was not a struggle for me at that time but maybe it was for many and maybe that was the purpose of this project.
