Tuesday Taking Over the Words You Speak

Words you speak can empower or tear down.
Words you speak can be forgiven but truly never forgotten.

Most times we say more with silence than we ever do with words.

When the words are chosen wisely with elegance and grace they are received with power.

When the voice is raised the words are often lost in the volume.

Words need to be taken over and controlled so the control is not lost.
When control is lost it is hard to regain.
Often the respect once gained and earned has been demoted to a lower status.

Along your travels today and everyday choose the course of your thoughts and actions wisely!

Smiles always sent your way

Monday Motivation thinking a new way

Progression of thought on the subject of Mondays, an example:

Step one ---> Thoughts from night before "Oh no not another Monday"
Step two ---> Go to bed with this thought in your mind, and your expecting a great nights sleep
Step three ---> Alarm goes off, you hit snooze or you don't you crawl out of bed and think and speak                                   "I hate Monday"

And you believe that you can suffer through the day and maybe it will get better.  LOL!

A new way of thinking about Monday.

Step one ---->  Enjoy and have gratefulness that you are enjoying your Sunday and have a deep sense of                              gratitude that you have a new week to enjoy with self and those you love.
Step two --->  Go to bed with the above thought in mind and truly expect and know the next day is going to                         be a great one!  Smile on you face and your pillow in place!
Step three --->  You wake up rested and wake up minutes (5 -10) with out the alarm, say your "Thank                                     You" prayer and place your feet on the floor with gratitude.

Which one just might work better?  Just a new way to think about what you think on a Monday.

It all starts with letting go of old ways and being creative enough to change and embrace change!

Today, this day is going to be a great day !
I can and I will handle anything with a smile and gratitude and purpose!
I act and create and I improve upon my day by my actions!

What are you growing in that mind?
Weeds?
Flowers?
Your planting thoughts everyday and until you truly look at those seeds your planting you truly should not be surprise at what grows from your efforts.  You truly reap what you plant and sow in your mind!

Don't be surprised when you get more weeds!
Plan and execute a better thought process!

Inspect your self talk and truly respond with better words that empower you.

What you think and what you say

Its your choice in those thoughts and words

Quote of the Day ~ Video of the Day ~ Scripture of the Day ~ Take time to think before you speak : ) 02/02/2012

“He gossips habitually; he lacks the common wisdom to
keep still that deadly enemy of man, his own tongue”
: o ) Mark Twain

Think before you speak; how often have you heard this gem growing up? Plenty of times I am sure.
Yet time and time again we insert a word or conversation that we regret or at the very least causes more harm than good.
Everything we do and say should have powers to help or heal or at the very least do no harm.
When we reach out with our words we don't know how much hurt they can cause, until its to late.
Words of course can also heal, help and uplift.  The power of the spoken word has positive and not so positive aspects.
So the next time you want to speak and perhaps blurt something out ask your self these questions:
What harm could these words cause another?
Does this statement share gossip or does it share good news?
Will I in any way regret the words I am about to say?
If you can take the time to practice these 3 questions then maybe you can make the time to not cause harm or discomfort.
Just saying and as always sharing and caring and sending you a smile for today : )

Scripture of the day
Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. – Proverbs 12:18 (NIV)

Quote of the day ~ Video of the Day ~ Scripture of the Day ~ Building Blocks of Life : ) 01/07/2012

“All life demands struggle.
Those who have everything given to them become
lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life.
The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid
is the major building block in the person we are today.”
~ Ralph Ransom

All life demands struggle.  How true that thought and statement  is.  What would a life be with out the struggle that makes us stronger, more giving, more sensitive to the victories that we sometime accomplish.
Making a difference for another is made much more direct and specific once we can empathize with those that may just need that smile more than we know.
The kind word that can make their day.
The soft touch that can give them inspiration and hope.
The hug that says everything will be alright because I believe in you.
What building blocks those little efforts can make.
Something to think about as we head into the 2nd week of the new year.
Happy new year and have a great week ahead.

Scripture of the Day
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall BELIEVE that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:23-24)
