Ok, so thanks so much for the conversation on todays post, if you have not had a chance to see or read it please jump in anywhere. I do appreciate all your kind words, thoughts and comments.
You don't have to agree, I approve of any statement just be nice, its never needed to be mean. I agree with the bumper sticker below.....
No one needs to be mean, its all about understanding that everyone has the right to be loved, and heard.
A little about me:
Closing in on another trip around the sun, I was born October 27, 1962.
Forty eight trips around the sun heading into my 49th year real soon.
I am a father of two awesome kids and reside in North Huntingdon, Pa.
Tori is age 17 and a senior this year and Troy Daniel is 15 and in 10th grade.
My kids live with me and I am very blessed to have them in my life. I love them more than they know. I am very proud of them and the words I write each day, I hope they will cherish when my time on this earth runs out.
I am separated from my wife she moved out and I wrote about this a few times.
Janice lives in MI now has since Sept 10th, 2011. She has only communicated once since then an email on the 28th of the same month where she stated she has moved on with her life and suggests I do the same.
Kinda cold sure, but it is what it is.......
We married on 10/10/10 a Sunday and had family a small crowd to wish us well and tied the know that was so easy for her to pull away from. I know I tried my best and you can't do it all yourself, did I make some mistakes of course I did but I did ask her to stay and stay she would not.
Her family, and her history lives in MI and back she went. Life happens and so does the end of a marriage and of love. I wish her no harm just closure which the email on the 28th of which I keep and read once a week is closure enough for me. I have no desire to email her back. I tried to remain a friend but it does not really matter.......
Enough of that more about me......LOL
Ok so my father passed away in 2002 and my mom is still alive at 86. It was not the perfect childhood, they were very hostile to each other and it made me a bit passive maybe. I never wanted to be apart of that type of marriage.
I have always looked at my life in terms of 16 years at a time.
0-16 years I was a captive of their broken marriage. Used as a pawn, confused and over protected by my mom I could not wait for my freedom and I got my freedom when I got a car and I hardly ever looked back.
17-32 Graduated in 1980 from Norwin HIgh School, never went to college. I just worked and I worked hard in Retail (the big box discount stores) Worked for GC Murphy, Hills Dept Stores and Value City in a Management position I loved it but soon grew weary of all the moving around and the politics.
Spent a few years DJing in WVA a college bar/club called Visions VIP and I have to say I loved it. Quarter draft on Thursday was packed and people bought me mixed drinks, Alabama Slammers I loved them....lol and I felt honored to spin vinyl for them. I enjoyed it.
33-48 Became a father in 1994 and loved it. Troy was born two years later and despite all efforts to put up with the management thing I succumbed in 1997 to Auto Sales Consultant. I have been selling cars since 1997 and like to think I do a better than average job.
My personal love life and marriage has not been to successful and I am in no hurry to rush into anything but would like to find love again, passion, and all that comes with it but for now my writing is my passion.
I do love to take digital photos and I love to listen to music. Love Christian rock and really I listen to all music from Jazz, to the Blues, to Top 40. I enjoy it it is also a passion. Even got to write a song put to music in high school for a band that I helped get around and set up. Love music and love to make others think and smile and laugh.
God this is boring I am sure......I think I may be falling a sleep ...... lol
Your free to go at any time just click the close browser button I won't mind.....lol
