Staying in Focus on Sunday *New* 08/07/11

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to a brand new day to get in focus!

So how was your first week of the new month?

What plans have you made and what goals have you set?

What reactions have you created?  Did they have a positive impact or did they cause some drama or turmoil?

Remember the quote from the Dalai Lama:

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.

And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." 

My hope is that that will be your focus each day and that this would help you stay in focus for creating love and joy in spite of others that may not have that goal for their moment.

Another quote I share with you today that should help you stay in focus.

"Every day, think as you wake up,

today I am fortunate to be alive,

I am not going to waste it.

I am going to use all my energies

to develop myself, to expand

I myself every morning as I rise include these thoughts in my prayer to God.  I ask him along with these sentiments to give me a greater wisdom to see and to understand how I can be a better person in this world.

My goal is always to share that smile, make a person laugh and if they choose to think or drift off into a dream that they do so with happiness and hope of improvement in life.

So today I give you these thoughts do with them what you will. But I go with the comfort that I only tried to help another and offered nothing to cause ill will.

My reactions that I look for are to have you perhaps smile, perhaps sigh with content that the last 500 words you read may have had a positive impact on your soul, your spirit.

That is my hope and intention. My goal my purpose for this post, today and everyday.

I choose words that flow effortlessly from my spirit.

I choose words that empower and build, in hopes that you pick one or two ideas and take them with you.

Choices, we all have them to make and today I make these.

To love

To pray

To choose happiness along the way.

To inspire another soul

To help lighten their burden that the may have.

To be a light in a dark event, don't know if it will shine something a new for that person on the other side of these words.

But I leave these words like any writer would, to make another smile, to make their path perhaps more understood.
