Monday Motivational Moment *New* 07/04/11

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to the fourth of July! My wish is that we all understand the true freedom that was won for us by many brave men on this day in 1776.

My other wish is that your family events are filled with joy and safety.

This day I am also off with you, most of the time I would be at work but today, I get to share this time with you.  Fire up those grills and stay smiling and I am sure the family your with will give you all the motivation you need.

But should you need that extra cup of coffee, keep that coffee pot close by. : ).

This week can be a start of something great for you so welcome to that opportunity.

May you make the most of it. First a quote :

If our country is worth dying for
in time of war let us resolve
that it is truly worth living
for in time of peace.
~Hamilton Fish

A day should not go by that you have trouble finding your smile.
A moment should never go by that you find it hard to share that smile, that sincere smile that says so much without us even knowing.
That spirit / soul that looks back at you from that mirror deserves your very best from life.  Life must have an equal amount of passion for it and an equal amount of doing that makes us better.
That improves upon its source being.
Never live for the status quo.  Never let your spirit/soul get into that well thats just the way life is, it never happens for me so why bother type of attitude.
No it never happens for you because you have given up somewhat.
You have allowed the status quo to become part of your fiber, deep within that spirit that as a small child says, today I rise and awake. What will peak my interest today?  That small child says with glee, almost everything.  Lets take that first step into the world.
So it should be with you.
If life is worth living it surely with documenting into a gratitude journal.
If life is worth living and it is then we all must run into the day with passion, excitement and curiosity of what the day can hold.  This day, today.
Share that sincere smile with that spirit/soul in your mirror.
Share that smile with others and watch the energy flow forward.
Take that first step, the most important step that says today I look to improve (fill in the blank).
We all need to give thanks for our freedom but true freedom is living the life with fullness and passion.
A quote from Erma Bombeck that I hope happens in your day :
You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness.
You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism.
Enjoy your fourth of July and throw a Frisbee my way.  : )
A quick video to enjoy and share :
