Yesterday I wrote in my post that :
We are the captain of our ships.
We are the producer of our movie.
The film of life is running every second, every day.
So knowing this what are you doing to live life at its fullest?
Often, me included here we get in that hamster wheel of life, we have so many great idea's and thoughts but we follow the path that we are currently on because we know where it is going to take us. The path of least resistance takes us where we know it is safe and still has smiles and joy much of the time.
In my case, here I work every day in sales, I work in the automotive industry have since 1997 and I do enjoy it. I tell most if not all of my friends and customers that it is about serving people not really about the metal they are buying. I am not in like with any of my cars, the people I help and serve I do the best I can do with the tools that I have. It is about the customer, the future owner and helping them fit the car into their budget.
My passion is in sharing my thoughts and ideals with you everyday here on Gather.com and at Make ME Smile Online dot com. I like to say that the ME is really all about YOU. It really is. I enjoy writing yet to really get a grasp or any idea on the book process, I want to it just seems like I can type away here and develop new idea's and video's for Make ME Smile Online (MMSO for short) and I truly enjoy the whole creative process. But when I get to the book idea, something slows me down. Guess what that something is?
ME
Sure, I understand this and each day I look at my smile in the mirror and plug along but yet I am truly not steering my ship or producing my film, each frame of my film as I should.
Reasons, I have plenty, some of them are knowledge based I admit and until you jump in the water and flop around for awhile, (I can't tread water either, I can move and swim just don't throw me in the deep) but my mind closes some gates or windows till the next free minute.
So I know how easy it is to steer the ship into the waters of least resistance and sometimes I push ahead to unchartered waters, the key is of course to be honest with ourselves and the desire to change. I have both abilities at present.
So today this Wednesday my wish that I push a little further into that strange waters that lie ahead and if your in that boat as well maybe we push on together. Hold our collective feet to the fire, hold our hands on the wheel and squint out into the mist.
My goal and mission is to make others smile and understand the great power that it holds. My goal is to write and use the various forms of media that exist to advocate the power of the smile to change this hurting and bruised world that some, yes even one life may be living.
There is a great quote I want to share here:

On a personal note, the love of my life, my better half and one awesome woman is entering day 3 of a smoke free life. She is strong and focused, committed and driven and I do believe she will succeed. Prayers are still welcome and I thank you for those already lifted up.
