Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another great day! A day off for me and a few errands to run but for the most part a day off to relax, reflect and work on my writing project.
The day starts for everyone just around the right side of midnight.
A new day and for most a day that has endless possibilities. The 86,400 seconds that complete the day go swiftly and non stop by us and we are the master of them. Yet so many people let time master them.
They try to get that extra five minutes of sleep, they hit the snooze bar and they push the thought out of their head of just jumping out of bed, stretching, going into a quick sincere prayer of thanks and letting go of any problems from days gone by. Some even worry about events that have not yet happened and may never happen yet in the mind of the worrier they happen time after time with horrible consequences.
Why? What good does all the worry do or for that matter what good is fighting the seconds and trying to slow them down when you know your battling a resource instead of putting that resource to your use.
Some quotes on the simple word time:
“Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.”
~ Harvey MacKay
~~~~~~~~
“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
~Steve Jobs
Don't waste your time. Don't let the thoughts or opinions take you off course. You are the master of your ship and if the Columbus had listened to everyone else on the ship that sailed the ocean blue in 1492 America as we know it would have been much different.
Sail your ship into those unchartered waters, block out all the noise and listen to that inner still voice inside that says "I have the knowledge and ability to do this". "I will not worry about tomorrow for today is the gift that I know hold in my hands".
These are my Thursday Theories.
1. We have so much power within our smile to enrich not only the life of others but cause a swift and effective progressive thought process that could change the way life is known at this very moment. The smile can do just that with sincerity and directness.
2. The mind, your mind has infinite power, it has been said countless times we use only a small portion of our mind. When we can wrap our thoughts around this and know that worry is nothing more than FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) then we can start to focus on the real issues. Issues like how do we take back our dreams and goals and turn them into workable, doable projects that can effectively change so many lives.
3. We all have this direct effective power to wake up in the morning, happy, full of gratitude joy and love. We owe it to ourselves and our children and their children to share the foundation of gratitude, appreciation, the power of a simple smile and educate them on how they can truly make a difference in their life and the life of others.
Enjoy your day, this day and have the knowledge that you are a creation of God, perfect in every way. Sending you a smile : )
