Happy Friday everyone and welcome to another great day another 86,4-- well, ok another 84,200 seconds to make a difference. For yourself and others, share a smile, make a moment.
Turn someones frown upside down and make them grin ear to ear.
Make them wonder what you have or what your up to because of that smile on your face.
They will wonder, so let them but they will want a little of what you have inside, joy and gratitude.
Appreciation and servitude for nature and life.
Life is for living! Each day use the gift of
imagination and wonder.
Each day use the gift of a smile and laughter.
Each day us the gift of time to pray and meditate.
Each day live, laugh, smile and give thanks that you can,
you will be glad you did.
This weekend is Hall of Fame Weekend in the NFL. Many great football players have bronze busts that reside their and this weekend a few more. I am a big Cowboy fan. Been that way since 1968 when I watched 'Bullet Bob Hayes' run past defenders with ease on his way to another kick return for a touchdown. He could leave players in the dust. In the 70's I watched as 'Roger the Dodger Staubach' moved and grooved his way past tacklers and through the famous 'Hail Mary Pass' to beat the Vikings so many years ago. Many strong memories in the 70's and some bad ones as well.
The 90's brought the Dallas Dynasty and the 'Triplets' Mike Irwin, Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith with 3 Super Bowl wins in the 90's and many wonderful moments to watch and share.
Emmitt Smith a determined runner is the NFL Rushing Leader and goes into the Hall Of Fame Saturday. He shares to days with my family, his birthday is May 15, same as my daughter Tori's and he broke the rushing record on October 27th my birthday, pretty cool of him don't you think.
But really you can learn much from sports, teamwork, never give up or give in attitude, follow through on your swing in baseball and golf, keep your eye on the ball or keep your eye on your life. It all is the same you know. Step into the pitch your get more momentum in baseball. Keep your feet on the ground firmly planted. Set goals and keep score along the way. All lessons from sports. One more for you, ENJOY THE GAME.
Whether it is the game of life or a game in sports play hard but enjoy the game. Focus on winning and understand that you have to play to win.
Wayne Gretzky was once quoted as saying:
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Isn't that the truth?
Smile on my friends and make a difference in someone's life!
Some thoughts on sharing a smile, your smile with so many who come within your circle of influence.
Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
