Sunday Prayer and Sunday Thoughts ~08/15/10

Good Morning and welcome to Sunday, a great day to be aware and thankful for what we have. A day to reflect on what we have been given, health, family, love, joy and abundant resources of which to live upon. The one real truth of gratitude is when we understand and use this resource,(gratitude) we learn that the whole world and all it holds within is rich in love and wonder we just need to harness it and tap into, that which God has created.

Today a new format, the title pretty much sums up the purpose of what this post will be about but from yesterday's post a little more explanation.

As the name implies, I want you the reader to post any and all prayer requests. I am a firm believer that thoughts truly do become things and I know the power of prayer can and does make a difference. The power of thought and the firm belief that thoughts become things especially written and spoken thought is the second part of this days stated purpose.

Together, united we can pray, give encouragement and inspirational moments to another person.

We can and will change the way they look at things and the way they begin and start to heal.

The value of consistent prayer is not that He will hear us,

but that we will hear Him.

~William McGill

What is the difference between the two words prayer and meditation. A few quotes to help explain them as I see it.

“Prayer is when you talk to God;

meditation is when you listen to God.”

~ Diana Robinson

~~~~~
“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul.
It is daily admission of one's weakness.
It is better in prayer to have a heart without words
than words without a heart.”
~Mahatma Gandhi
So with that I turn it over to you the reader. What is on your prayer request list today, what are you lifting up to God? What do you want us to include in our Sunday Prayer's?
From the Bible:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
*****
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)
****
So now it is yours in the comment section include your thoughts and let us include your requests in our prayers. The power of prayer is awesome, the power of belief is even stronger, the power of united prayer is forever more.
Enjoy your day and always take time to smile! Take time to Pray and take time to love all that is around freely given to you in abundance.
Thoughts truly do become things!
Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
