Happy Monday to you all and welcome to a new week! A week full of opportunities, challenges and a very big chance to make a difference in someone's life. The difference you make may be all the difference that is needed.
First off I want to thank all of you who visited and shared your prayer requests and thoughts.
Yesterday's post Sunday Prayers and Sunday Thoughts is a forum for those and my only wish and hope is that you take the time to revisit the post and write down or make a mental note so that when you do pray or meditate you do include the thoughts and request that were put out on the post.
It only takes a minute and it only takes but once to include them in your daily prayers and thoughts. Remember thoughts do become things and what we speak does come to pass we only need to act on those actions when they present themselves.
Many times in life we hesitate we let the opportunity pass us by, we look the other way sometimes in fear that we are not needed there. Someone else will take care of that need, God will supply that smile or kind word for them and yet just maybe God had a plan to use you.
Make up your mind to act decidedly and take the consequences.

Time and opportunity they both pass with a fleeting moment. They both pass and once they are gone, they may, at the very least that chance may not come again.
There are times when we wait, we think we are not good enough, strong enough, fast enough or strong enough to fill in that need that just presented itself. When we take that stance we also pass along the road less traveled and go with the common wind that just blows on by, never to capture itself the wind just blows. Take a real and close look at the steps we choose, choose with the open mindedness that yes I could and can make a difference, hesitation is not for me, I will act upon the need if I am so lead to.

Dawn has come my friend and in the hours that follow the sun will indeed set. What can you scratch on your ledger today that will say what you did in between those events of dawn and dusk.

I shared a smile or kind word for someone in need,
I filled the gap even for a precious moment for the lonely and hurting,
I took the time to act when I was called upon,
For that I am grateful that I made a difference.
The smile, simple yet powerful.
