Saturday Morning Reflection ~08/21/10

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to another weekend.

Travel weekend for us driving back to Michigan to take Janice's son Blake back. A great week and great times together and many awesome memories to look back upon.

Back to the ABC's of the Smile. The last two days I have shared with you the A through the F on Thursday and G through L yesterday.

Today we pick up with M.

M - Memories

Each one of us as we have made our many trips around the sun have hundred's of sound bytes and visionary clips and sensory feelings to reflect on.

Our memory banks are flooded with a byte here and a byte there of moments that have made us smile, laugh and have intense feelings of joy.

How often do you reflect and return to your memory banks?

Each and everyday when I look into my daughter's eyes remember the picture of me holding her not too long after birth in a rocking chair with a glow on my face looking down on her in my arms. I can also remember back to a time when I first met Janice, and how she asked me out, (she always goes after what she wants) at a simple water fountain. That face and those eyes I will always remember and how it brings back joy and a smile to my face.

Find your play and rewind button of your memory bank and let it play over and over again.

N - Natural

The smile is so natural or so a sincere smile should be. We should never ever have to fake it to we make it or give that fake insincere smile to another. It all starts with our heart and mind and how we treat our selves. How do you treat your self? How do you feel about the word gratitude and do you appreciate yourself? Be natural don't ever fake a smile and let the heart feel grateful and appreciative and always and I mean always take time to treat yourself right the first time and every time.

O - Original

When God created us he gave man and women the chance to live a perfect life and to have a perfect harmonious garden in which to live. We (as a species) messed that up.

We have always had free will to choose the right over wrong. Live a life in light over darkness and have joy over sadness. These are the choices we make.

We have the control to go back to those original days, we just have to choose to go back and live a life of joy, light and right.

Every man is a creative cause of what happens,

a primum mobile with an original movement.

~Friedrich Nietzsche

P - Pure

To live a pure and simple life. How often do you think about that?

Pure intentions and pure results. Pure joy and laughter. As pure as honey from the bee hive, no malice and no anger. Just pure.

“We are shaped by our thoughts;

we become what we think.

When the mind is pure, joy follows like

a shadow that never leaves.”

~Buddha

R - Realization

Defined it is: coming to understand something clearly and distinctly. When we come to understand that the distinct power of the smile and clarity that we with that simple smile can make a difference. We will make a difference and with a smile we will.

S - Simple

What more is there to say over what we already know. Simple the smile is and will always be. Only our own deficiencies can get in that simplicity of the smile for others and for ourselves.

That is all for now, to reflect on A through S is enough for today.

Smiles to all! : )

Some thoughts on sharing a smile, your smile with so many who come within your circle of influence.

Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
