Giving Thanks on Thursday ~ 03/04/10

Good day everyone and happy Thursday everyone. Another day closer to spring, to planting new life, to smelling fresh cool breezes.

Spring without a doubt is on top of most everyones agenda.

So without any delay here is the mantra for today:

Spring in 15 days, the time is rushing by-

snow is melting-

hopes are soaring-

Looking for the return of green grass buried

under piles of snow.

Oh Mr. sunshine melt away, melt away

just make the white stuff go.

This day I give extra thanks and focus on the word gratitude. I am so grateful for your visits each day, your kind comments. It warms my heart to read them. I also give thanks to those who have crossed over to Facebook and friendship requested me there. Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about you as well. My facebook link.....

The gratitude in my heart keeps my focus on sharing with you how important the smile can make a difference in someone's day.

The gratitude in my heart also allows me to stay focused on what really makes a difference in my life. Things like love, joy, laughter.

Gratitude in a young child will change their life more than almost anything. A child who grows up with gratitude will pass it on just as a child with hate in their life grows up confused with that emotion and on the cycle goes.

Start your child young, teach the importance of knowing what is good in their lives, help them draw, write post what makes them grateful.

I am very grateful for my children, their attitude their kindness and the simple gift of gratitude will help them grow with so much positive energy. And so it goes.
