Happy Friday everyone! So how is the holiday shopping coming? Good I hope! Still have some here to plan out and execute just a few more to go.
Have you ever felt like your spinning your wheels, maybe in the mud, or maybe in the deep snow? How do you over come it? Or do you over come it?
The first step is to evaluate your attitude towards the situation.
Is it one of anger or frustration?
The best attitude when you feel stuck or overwhelmed is to have the spirit of expectation. To expect things to get better, expect the answer to flow to your insight.
Expectation is defined as:
belief about (or mental picture of) the future
anticipation: anticipating with confidence of fulfillment
the feeling that something is about to happen
Often I have overheard others state that I hope this or that will get better.
Hope is defined as:
a specific instance of feeling hopeful;
"it revived their hope of winning the pennant"
the general feeling that some desire will be fulfilled;
"in spite of his troubles he never gave up hope"
promise: grounds for feeling hopeful about the future;
"there is little or no promise that he will recover"
expect and wish; "I trust you will behave better from now on";
"I hope she understands that she cannot expect a raise"
As you can see when we hope we leave a cast of doubt. Maybe things will get better? Maybe they won't.
But when we expect, we in a literal sense look for ways to fulfill our expectations. We look deeper for the answers to our problems.
Remember the past does not equate to the future. No matter what has happened prior to today. The future is in your hands, your heart and in between those ears. Your attitude should always be one of, "I can do this, I will do this" not I hope I can.....
Completing the difficult or sometimes "impossible" is only overcome by a strong CAN DO attitude.
Look at all those with extreme handicaps that succeed. Their talents are enhanced by their will to push forward. Where is your push coming from today.
Look in that mirror and smile, say in a audible voice I can do this and I will do this!
Your the captain of your ship, no matter how big the ship or small the vessel your in charge!
The waves always are coming towards your ship, some waves going in the direction you want to go and some flowing against you. The only way to navigate is to row faster or use a bigger sail pointed in the right direction. But in the end your still in charge!
Attitude + Gratitude + Expectations + belief in yourself + action = positive outcomes
Now evaluate your outcome and adjust as needed. YOU yes you were built and designed by God to succeed. You are not built to fail or suffer, just realign your self with that thought and your results will be enhanced.
Have a great day everyone and till next time........ SMILE!
