Monday Morning Wisdom ~ It's not over

Good morning everyone and welcome to a new week. May your day be a great and full of adventure.

Speaking of adventure how about those Pittsburgh Steelers. Well we won and thats what matters the most. If you watched the game they had a 28 to 0 lead well into the 3rd quarter. Then, well they won 35 - 28.

Which leads me to "its not over till", you give up. That is about the size of it. Whether in the game of football or the game of life, and yes life is a game. It is not over till we give up. So many times in my personal life I have faced challenges just as I am sure you have. When faced with these challenges it is so easy to roll over, pull up the covers and never start. But that is quitting with a capital Q.

There are times when life gets the best of us.

There are times when it seems the mountain in front of us is too steep or we are too tired.

These moments will come in our lives. I pray that none of you are going through those moments now. If you are you might not even focus on a smile and its power to change the human spirit or gratitude and how it can make everything in our lives come into focus.

The game of life is never over, life has many twists and turns, much like a country road.

Focus on what is good in our life.

Ask better questions when these moments appear in our life. Like I have always said life is like a wave in the ocean. Some come crashing upon us and some we sail upon.

Waves will come and go! It has always been that way. No one ever wins, all the time and no one ever loses all the time.

When you look out at the wonders that has been created for us you know that we are such a small part of this world. That is why prayer is so important. Prayer to give thanks for what we have had in this world.

Never give up! When I saw those words I want to share this 10 minute video from You Tube. I will not lead you into this but the message rings true. It is worth the bookmark, so that you can watch it more than once. Enjoy it and never give up or give in.
