Truly there is nothing like the month of October, perhaps thanksgiving in November comes close but that is one day maybe 4 days if you have family over visiting.  Then yes we have December but the leaves falling in October gently onto the ground or the sound of the window scraper of freshly frozen car windshield.  I don't know..... I like October.
