Happy Labor Day!
First Monday in September since 1894 some 30 states adopted Labor Day as a Federal Holiday. Oregon hand first made the day a holiday in 1887. The first Labor Day parade was in New York City in 1882.
So much labor this year with out a doubt. Many of us had layoffs and furloughs. Many had to work as essential workers. We are still in the middle of this pandemic with hopes and prayers for a 'safe' vaccine and improved treatments.
All the praise in the world and gratitude to the doctors and nurses, the respiratory therapists. The store workers, cashiers the gas stations the local fast food restraurants.
They all stood tall and rose to the occasion.
First responders from fire to police to paramedic's responded and served us. We thank them.
We have much to be grateful for. We also need to thank those and if I left out a class my apologies.
WE THANK YOU ALL!
Today enjoy, if your off relax and reflect, enjoy the ending of summer and the coming of the beautiful fall season.
Smiles sent your way this day and everyday : ). The Motivation Mastery for today key words.
Work hard, play hard and stay grateful! That should be focused enough. : )
