Getting Lost In A Picture

Getting found in the words

A little something new sent your way.  The message will still be inspiring, or thought provoking and yes my goal is still to Make You Smile Online.  Nothing will change there.

But the idea is to share a picture and tie in some inspiring thoughts.  Often we will look at life through our eyes in an instant, maybe if the image is mesmerizing it will have impact and move you.

My goal is to share that picture and give some insight and maybe inspiration along the way.  I truly hope you enjoy.

This picture was taken by me over 12 years ago.  Taken above a bridge here in Pittsburgh, PA. I loved the yellow and the dark waters below.  To me this picture spoke the challenges yet adventure paddling  through dark murky waters.

Life can be like that sometimes.  Often we are alone, or so we feel and paddle away, often we do through unchartered plans.  Never can it be said or should it be said 'life is easy', however life can be an adventure and eventful by our perception of the moments.

Life is many things and it is often never boring.  Never does it go exactly to plan, nothing is ever perfect but often times we need to focus on the good and the completed actions that do turn out right.

Right enough.

The solo paddler in the small kayak boat cutting through what seems to be unsettled waters on a warm summer day.  The black of the water and the yellow of the kayak just pops out to me.  A picture of contrast.

Life is full of contrast.

Enjoy the waves of life.  May your waves alway be smooth and may the adventure always be fulfilling.

Smiles sent and welcome to August.

Stay Safe.

Be filled with the desire and hunger to breathe and move forward.

Share kindness and share a smile!

Embrace always, smile forever and share united.

  1. I like this writing and the words you used to describe how it made you feel. Sometimes life is bright and sometime dark but that's a part of living. I get it.
