A very happy Thursday sent your way! It all starts with your beliefs and thoughts. More so the beliefs as they stem from our conditioned thoughts. It all starts here and this is my Thursday Theory on the shaping of beliefs and how we can recondition them.
No this is not all encompassing for everyone but for many our thoughts can be changed in a second and our beliefs can be changed in short time as well. Maybe not a second, for these are conditioned but with gentle care and love and faith they can be changed as easy as a habit is changed or lets say by some scientific circles a habit can be changed in 21 days.
You need faith
You need courage
you need to believe
you need to be honest with yourself that you want the change.
Faith some quotes:
“When you have come to the edge Of
all light that you know And (you sense)
are about to drop off into the darkness Of the unknown,
Faith is knowing One of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on or
You will be taught to fly”
~Patrick Overton

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things
I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.”
~ Reinhold Niebuhr

Courage some quotes:
“The doors we open and close each day
decide the lives we live.”
~Flora Whittemore

“It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return,
but what is the most painful is to love someone
and never find the courage to let
the person know how you feel.”

My question here is the following concerning the last quote. What if the person you don't let or allow to feel love is you?
Think about it, often we show others love but do we always treat, care for or share the love with ourselves. We are often our toughest critic, we often believe that what is our now, will always be.
Or we think that it would be too challenging to change our beliefs, after all we received them from a very young age, or we think it would be too painful.
Life is full of pain my friend, not to say that in mean way or as to discourage you, but with all things good the truth of the matter about pain is as simple as:
No pain, no gain
Did Christ experience pain?
Does the conditioned and talented athlete experience the pain of training and sacrifice?
Will a leader of a nation or army feel the pain of decisions and loss?
Then how should we view our life and the challenge in changing our belief system (for the better) any differently.
Quotes on honesty:
“Honesty is the cornerstone of all success,
without which confidence and ability
to perform shall cease to exist.”
~ Mary Kay Ash

“Honesty is like an icicle; if once it melts that is the end of it”
~ American Proverb

Don't let your honesty within yourself melt away. Don't be that guy or that gal when at the end of your life you know that you could have been happier, or left a better message behind for those you love.
Be the honest and sincere and faithful person to thyself first and your life will be that of direction and connection.
Direction is the course you choose and desire.
Connection into the source and person God intended you to be.
We were created to be happy, to smile and to contribute.
Make that difference today.
First for yourself
Then for the rest in your circle of influence.
You can if you choose and you will when you decide
You will be glad and joyous that you did when you act!
