Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a tough week in some ways yesterday I reflected on the passing of Elizabeth Edwards and her courage and grace she maintained right to the end.
How we can draw on her wisdom and courage for our own lives.
Yet again last night on the way home I was reminded on the passing 30 years ago of John Lennon and how the story was released on Monday night football.
That story hit me so I found a backdrop video of sort that highlights the story, courtesy of You Tube. I share that with you now.
The video explains the story and how it spread that night, with out cell phones, facebook and twitter. The world lost another important figure. His lyrics united and taught us possibilities.
His song Imagine speaks of hope and love and courage. I wanted to share that with you as well.
Imagine, just one of many songs that he wrote and shared, he made a difference and his music continues to make a difference to this day.
So these are all facts of course, the passing of Ms Edwards, Author and Mr. Lennon, songwriter and performer, both contributed and made a difference right up to their death and beyond.
So my Thursday Theory? Don't know how to explain it but I will try.
Both entirely two different people, both with style, grace and talent.
What made them different from most is that they reached. Reached out in adversity, and reached out when life was just boring and mundane. They reached.
The same way all of us can reach. With concern, with love, with a sincere smile, with compassion. We all have that distinct power and we all have the talent.
We just need to do it.
Simple and not very profound at all. They just did it.
So can we, and so should we.
May your Thursday be filled with smiles, joy and love.
Just a Theory on Thursday.......Enjoy your day and at the very least share a smile! It may just help to heal a hurt.
May your smiles abound.
May your joy lift another spirit.
May you stay hungry and stay foolish!
May your heart be warmed because it always was.
