Sunday Prayer and Sunday Thoughts ~12/19/2010

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to a new day, a day filled with hope, promise and potential. We only need to welcome them and acknowledge them into our life. More on that in a few.

I want to start out this Sunday post with a prayer request and I hope the 1700 people that I have as friends on Gather and Facebook read this, I truly do.

My wish is that you pass this on to your friends by email or phone and lift this prayer request up to the heavens through prayer.

My love and wife Janice has a sister her name is Jane Warren-Northington. Jane has a lung disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis, it is a scarring of the lungs and robs you the ability to breathe. It has no cure as of now, but with the power of prayer and God there many times are no cures know to man only God.

She lives in Michigan and will be going to the Univ. of Michigan Hospital on Monday in the morning and I ask that you send your prayers and positive energy her way. It is never easy to be ill or carry the burden but with the power of like minded believers and prayer and God that burden can be lifted and love and joy and energy can be sent.

Thanks for passing this on and for your prayers.

So that is my Sunday Prayer and my Sunday thought is about the power of hope, promise and potential. Our hope, God's Promise and the potential we all have with him in our heart and in our life.

Our hope, we all have the ability to think and to understand and choose.

Hope is defined as the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

(source:dictionary.com)

Our hope is slightly altered by the world faith which comes from God's promise.

His promise:

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you. Hebrews 13 verse 5

His promise:

31but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. ~Isaiah 40 verse 31

Yet another promise:

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. ~1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV'

So we all have hope and promise and now we must look within and understand our potential with what we have. The potential of success and yes the potential of failure. For we all must understand that with success comes some failure. The more failure we have and acknowledge puts us in a place where we can alter our steps and get that much closer to success.

It all starts with hope and promise and is delivered by our actions, our thoughts and our follow through. Simple enough to do but also simple enough not to do. These are facts but with the knowledge of what we truly want, our dreams, our aspirations and our basic human needs we will and can get not only what we need but what we want.

My Sunday thoughts and Sunday prayers please have a wonderful Sunday and a wonderful holiday. Smiles sent your way today and everyday.

May your smiles abound.

May your joy lift another spirit.

May you stay hungry and stay foolish!

May your heart be warmed because it always was.

Smiles sent your way this day and always!

Happy Sunday everyone! : )

Some thoughts on sharing a smile, your smile with so many who come within your circle of influence.

Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
