Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to the day before Thanksgiving! A day for family, friends and giving thanks for the year gone by and the holiday season on to come.
Black Friday ads will be followed and planned out with care, we will stand in lines at very odd times of the day, coffee in hand to keep us warm and wait for the chance to get that Black Friday special.
We then will wait in another line just to get out of the store and go on to the next stop and savings, oh how the cash and CREDIT will flow. Spend wisely, and know that the January bill will indeed come, with interest attached of course.

Human need number 1
Certainty and Comfort ~ without question we know that the holiday has the tradition of gathering around the table. Grace and thanks will be said, bread will be passed around with plenty of food to share. The comfort of family and friends and the collection of stories and conversation passed around.
Need number one met in completion.
Human need number 2
Uncertainty and variety ~ the same goes for the variety of food, the taste and the conversation, oh the uncertainty of that. The topics should be brief of course, no politics should be discussed or things from the past that could jump on the conversation table. Old Uncle Joe seems to throw out some topics that make the table cringe. Do you have an Uncle Joe?
Human need number 3
Significance ~ the desire to be heard. The desire to feel that we contributed to the conversation, the meal, the uniqueness of what we bring to this holiday tradition. We all desire that yet we want the comfort of unity. How important the contrast's are in life. We want to be heard but yet we like to fit in and perhaps stay safe and secure in our patterns.
Human need number 4
Connection and Love ~ The big word that starts with the "L", how tradition and family bring that to this holiday. Oh the memories that will be made and shared for days and weeks to come. The passion of the holiday is always present. The standing and long held traditions are all about the love and care and connection. We just need to reach out and embrace just as an equal proportions.
Human need number 5
Growth ~ It has been said that with out growth we don't really stand still we digress and we go backwards. Everyone has different needs and different thoughts and opinions. It is with our acceptance and tolerance of difference we shall grow and maybe yes maybe learn a thing or two from a different perspective.
Human need number 6
Contribution ~ This season as we line up to spend money and spend time. Maybe just maybe we can contribute something of real value. Time or resources to a food pantry in our community. Purge our closets of old and gently worn clothes and give to the homeless or Salvation Army. Take in a pet that has no home from the Animal Rescue League. We can all do something, even if it is just one thing.
