Happy Monday everyone! Thanks so very much for your kind thoughts and warm wishes.
Yesterday I posted some pictures that Blake took for us, he is quite the photographer and much thanks to him. Click here to go to yesterday's post.
What can I say, so many great thoughts and memories from yesterday. All good stuff, Janice had some friends from Monroe, MI come to visit and lots of good times had. The ceremony was sort, to the point but all the important points are covered. The weather was perfect, a slight breeze, lots of sun and the warmth on the outside was almost as warm as our hearts on the inside.
The look in Janice's eyes during the whole day was priceless, and I must say she was calm the whole day through. I was just counting down to the day and the last 5 hours seemed to take longer than I expected.
So what is the Monday Wisdom for the day?
Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish for starters
Let me explain this one. Time goes by so fast and some times love seems to elude us. We dream, we search and we pray to find that special someone. Like the wind that blows on through, we find it.
Janice's wind blew on in and captured my heart once again as it did back in the late 1980's. Stay Hungry, you will find what your looking for when you stay hungry.
Commitment for some is hard, you look back over the years and you have great concern for the mistakes made and you wonder if you should just stay put. You long and yearn for the magic but some of us shy away for the fear of getting hurt again. The way some who loose a puppy or cat stay away from adopting again because the pain is to great to start anew. Stay foolish, run to the golden ring, use your instincts and show great patience in letting the water flow on through, try not to hold it to tight, as if you could anyway. Love, laugh and live with joy in your heart and spirit.
“Be aware of wonder. Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.”
~Robert Fulgham
If you will add the line stay hungry and stay foolish to that quote.
Smiles to you all and have a great week!
