Happy Tuesday everyone and another great day ahead of us! How can I be so sure that today is a great day? A few things, we are alive, we are loved and we understand the power of appreciation and gratitude in our lives!
Tuesday is a day that I like to share with you the attitude of gratitude. The power of understanding that what we have right now, is more than enough!
What are you grateful for?

What a great understanding of being in love, of being grateful for all that is good and all that surrounds us every day. It surrounds us, even if we ignore its nature of presence.
Today take stock in that beauty, of all that God has placed before our feet.
Take a deep breath of nature, that cool, crisp air and feel it pass through your nostrils.
Breathe in deeply! Exhale slowly and recommit yourself so effortlessly for your next breath.
I am grateful for the woman in my life that loves me for who I am and encourages me to be even better. In little over 19 days, 19 days, 10 hours, and 10 minutes, but who's keeping track? We will cross over from engaged to married but the hearts and soul remains entwined. The love conquers all, the dreams go on forever and the journey starts new and fresh each day.
Janice is perhaps as I have told her over and over again, become the shore that I rest my light house on, the foundation of the shore solid and true. The light house always lighting the way for another great day of faith, hope and love but as always the greatest of these is love!
That verse in 1 Corinthians 13 is perhaps the one most known and quoted but the following is also good for some thought today:
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (NLV)
As love will with us, as we walk along our journey, so it will with you. If we but only let it flow and be appreciative that it does.
If you can walk with your head held high, your eyes skyward and not to the ground, your lips and voice soft and tender, your smile wide and your arms relaxed and ready to open. Then perhaps you will understand the power of gratitude.
Ready, willing and able to reach out and make a difference, to touch another's soul and to bring the light upon their darkness, what power we all hold.
Use that light today. Become someone's light house and enjoy the beacon that you carry in your heart.
