Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to another Wednesday.
I like to present some thoughts on wishes that I would like to make.
Wish defined:
wish n. A desire, longing, or strong inclination for a specific thing.
An expression of a desire, longing, or strong inclination; a petition.
So these are mine for today, I hope you concur on these. What a world we could behold, not just for us but for our children.
I wish we taught in school a class on Gratitude and its importance just like we taught health.
I wish we spent time in class on having class, living with acceptance of others religious views and racial existence. Because just because we hate those other views does not mean they go away. They just get stronger with tension placed.
A wish that we taught children to voice their opinion on all of us becoming better stewards of our planet. If we only realized that we have one planet, one set of rules established from our creator and how many chances do we really have to not pollute and dilute our natural resources.
A wish that we as parents did not give in to every whim our children have to get the latest thing, wear the best label apparel, the latest computer.
I wish that we did not as a human race depend on alcohol, or any substance to numb our spirit or enhance our mood.
Just a few wishes for today. My wish for all of you is to start one of these wishes in earnest, teach your child the meaning of gratitude, the importance of acceptance and the value of our planet. Just one of these can make all the difference.
