Monday Morning Wisdom ~ 03/01/10

Happy March 1st everyone and Happy Monday! I don't know many in the Pittsburgh area that misses the month of February. The record snowfall 48.7" for this month. Thats 8.5" over the past record.

So what is our mantra today?

Welcome March yes we know you can roar like a lion when you first come in-

We also know that you leave like a lamb at the end-

Spring 18 days away, February is gone so lets us all March on.

I have said this before so I will say it again, your happiness is what you make it. We can choose to be happy or sad or angry at any moment of our day. The moment we understand that no one or any one thing can make us feel anything then we have control of our destiny.

Choosing to be happy should be an easy thing once we understand this. Just as waking up and putting our feet on the floor to get up is much better than rolling out of bed head first.

The path we take each day is ours alone. We can alter our thoughts about it. Realize that the steps we are taking need to be altered for a better result or continue with eyes wide open just in case we need to alter them.

So march on, head held high and spread that smile of yours with that person in the mirror this morning. Look into to those eyes, the windows to your soul. Understand that you can make yourself smile from the inside and outside. Understand you can share that smile with others so that their day is a little bit warmer.

The first step is to understand that you make all the difference.

The second step is to make that difference a reality.
