Flowing Into Friday and the New Year ! ~ 01/01/10

Happy Friday everyone and Happy New Year to go with that!



Today I hope you pull out that gratitude journal and take the time to share your plans and strategy for the new year.



I hate the word new year resolution as often we look at it as past regrets of not following through.




A resolution or as the word I am trying to promote this year is resolve, to cut off and to make a final decision to plan and strategize to follow through on the change that you indeed want.


Action is always required to make any change and we must of course understand that there will be set backs and yes there will be failures.


I once saw a pastor Tim Storey deliver a sermon which stated:


When you have a set back don't take a step back because God is planning your comeback!


His words, I believe in God as you know, and I believe that we are of course free will agents in this world. We have and we do make choices. We have the ability to promise ourselves the best in life and then of course we often have the power to break that promise to ourselves for whatever reason. Many times the reason is as simple as it's too hard, what if I fail what if I work with all this might and still fail.


Guess what?! Failure is another step closer to success. You act, you review and you take another step forward, you plan and act, you review and modify your actions and take another step ahead. But taking no action or failure to move is indeed a most regrettable step in life.


When you have a set back don't take a step back because God is planning your comeback!


The laws of attraction, the energy of gratitude, the power of a smile returned are all laws created by God. If we don't acknowledge the power of movement, of belief of a smile then we are indeed down the wrong path of life.


Don't let this be you. Pick up the pen, take a few seconds to write what your grateful for today and take the chance to turn your belief system around.


Do you have to write in your gratitude journal every day. NO! But even one or two days a week will make a difference in how you view the day and the week.
