Good Morning everyone! Sending you wishes that your week is a great one! Remember it all begins with you, your thoughts, your words, your plans or lack thereof and your actions.
How do you start your week?
It goes with out saying sleep is important but I know people than run on very few hours of sleep and still maintain a high level of joy and happiness and productivity. So that is not always it. It helps though.
Do you give time for you in the morning or are you rushing all around going no where fast?
I am a firm believer in giving yourself 30 minutes to yourself. Time to pray, meditate and give your self a firm footing on the morning before you go rushing off.
Praying with gratitude and giving thanks for what we have not what we wish for.
Yes I remember as a small kid praying for that fancy new toy whatever it was. Thank God I prayed aloud so my parents could here me. It worked most of the time, not always.
Each morning do you give yourself time for breakfast? The most important meal of the day and it just sets the tone for your metabolism.
How do you talk to your self. No I don't mean walking around and talking to yourself I am saying what messages of (self-talk) do you send your self? Are you telling your self this is going to be a great day? What if you did today, try it for the next week.
Tell yourself why your special, why your week is going to be great. Set your self up for victory with your thoughts and say away from defeating yourself before you even get going.
Just a few things that i know works. Give yourself a chance as you go into each day.
Stop beating yourself with verbal cues of failure and start winning at the small steps we should all take as we go into our Monday!
