Found in the Word
Another Segment of an in-depth thought on a picture that touched me.Just a simple picture and some thoughts and comments.
Something to give some thoughts upon and perhaps reflect with.
Again I did not take this picture but wanted to share my find.
Rail Tracks to Somewhere
So powerful the picture a journey in progress, distant horizon sun setting perhaps, clouds floating by. The distance seems to narrow but the journey remains straight ahead.
A long trip ahead, the country rails lead me home. Clear skys ahead a looking storm to the left?
So much to see but so much in the distance.
Is not life like that? Especially now in this time of so much uncertainty. We see a lot, think a lot and hopefully make clear and concise decisions.
The nice thing about following a railway journey its a path with a destination and perhaps not with many choices that are evident. The rails are indeed planted and laid out for a destination. If the path was random in the forest or mountains only the sun and time of day or a trusty compass would give us directional guidance. The rails in this picture find a path.
Our values and our beliefs do that in our lives. What we believe guides us, to an adventure or to staying put and playing it safe.
There could be danger in this picture, there is definite danger in life. But guidance exists, and precautions can still be taken.
Stay alert, be aware, listen to that inner voice as we travel through our journey.
The path may not be defined as clear as the railways laid out in this photo.
But the journey exists for us all. Take the time to enjoy the journey, the path before you has much to share and yet be more meditative indeed.
Enjoy your Saturday and take time, and make time to get lost in a picture.
