Open Mind and an Open Heart

May we start each day with 

an open mind 

and a open heart.

May we put out 

flames of hate with love and grace.  

May we be humble and have empathy

 during life's open race.  

May we see each other with an open mind

 and an open heart, may it set us 

apart from the masses that are filled with hate, 

may we learn to appreciate. 

 Fill each day with open eyes, open arms 

and open thoughts with no disguise.  

No altered motives just direct talk, 

some laughter and some wisdom 

from God above, may we try to 

learn each and every day about each other 

and each others different and unique way.  

No road is full of flowers and

 butterflies but each road should be

 filled with compassion if we learn to sympathize.
