Thursday Tune Up of Expectations

I write to inspire, I live to serve.
My two favorite quotes:

And

Two simple beliefs I live by

So when I travel my expectations from a place of business are not placed that high, I get that.  But customer service matters.  I expect that my money that I spend with a company, matters.

When I provide a service, either in writing or at my day job, service matters.  I honor my guest or write and intend to honor those who read this.  It matters.

Whether I am buying a taco, or buying a membership at a health club service matters.

The owners, the managers, the team members all should take that to mind, when servicing the public.

I worked many years ago in retail management and a wise Sr. VP of Operations in charge of the field told us the following.

"The customers dollar spends anywhere treat them so they want to spend it with us"

The customers dollar spends anywhere
Honor them
respect them
Trust is earned
With out trust service is lost and so is the dollar that your business wanted.
Repeat that formula to many times and the doors will be slow to open and fast to close.

Expectations
Demand more you get more
Expect less you get less
Inspect what you want your team to execute

Maybe this Thursday we should all expect more and care more on how we treat others.
Especially the ones who keep the bills paid.

Nor should they rise

Smiles sent your way : ) As always
