My Thursday Theory revolves around being patient:

In everyday life some of the toughest situations could made easier with patience given to them. The quote above by Sivananda has much wisdom to it. It comes from arm chair reflection from someone more wise and in tune with what really is the problem with most bad choices that are made in our lives. The problem is usually and almost always with us and not the other person.
We jump to soon, or assume the outcome before the development needs to take place. We get impatient with our loved ones and drift away with what got you both to what made you fall in love in the first place. Love! It is patient and kind. Thats in scripture is it not.
When we let the small stuff, and yes it almost all is small stuff just flow gently down its course we soon find that patience is truly a virtue.
That when we allow others to express themselves with out intervention conflict is less likely to arise. But when we try to impose our will on another will and try to 'make it so' we soon wind that two movable forces do much moving but mostly those forces go no where. Just friction heating up the air and clouding the issues.
Patience with the weather.
Patience with the stranger in the car in front of you who just seems to be going to slow.
Patience with the waitress or waiter who can't help that she has too many tables.
Patience with your children who may just need love and a hug and attention in the positive manner we don't always give.
So my Thursday Theory? Here it is from Psalm 37 : 7 - 9
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land. (NLT)
