Thursday Theory 11/11/10

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another great day to be alive! Everyday is a great day to be alive. Yes, we will have speed bumps, and twists and turns in our life that make us say, really, why me. But truly if you look for the goodness in everything that happens and look at the rose bush instead of the thorns life will present to you a whole new perspective, that you will carry those loads much lighter than you may be at the present.

First off thanks to all of you yesterday that wished me a happy one month anniversary. You made me feel warm inside and I thank you.

Thanks for steadily following my posts and increasingly the view counts have risen and I do so much appreciate your comments.

Almost 620 posts on Gather.com and I have enjoyed writing everyone of them. Thank you for being who you are!

Smiles to everyone of you and may your day be like cotton candy, sweet and fluffy. No worries, no concerns just making a difference with that great smile of yours.

My writings each day take form as I type, seriously they just flow from my fingers and my instinct takes over. No preconceived notions here. Just what I feel led to write at that moment. It is like having a conversation with all of you. I feel blessed to be able to write that way, I enjoy it as much as being loved and sharing love.

My question and theory today is Why do some people have trouble being expressive about their feelings.

Why do some people have trouble really letting others know how they feel?

Why do some whey they are hurting inside just let that ship ease of out port, when the love that they share or shared is drifting out to sea, into unchartered waters and they don't take the time to say what they truly feel.

It happens all the time, someone dies unexpectedly and the thoughts of those behind remain unsaid. How heart breaking.

Maybe a fight or terse words was the last words spoken and the I love you and I care about you did not get to stop the anger and malice.

Why? How do we stop it? When do we allow the fighting to end and the mending to start.

Why can't we let go of our EGO and just say whats truly important and on our mind.

I love you, I care about, be safe, drive careful, have a great day.

Words that I always, and this is just me here, try to express each day and night. I want Janice, and my loved ones to know, your important and I care about you. Not just with words of course but actions. But sometimes words are all you can share for that moment.

A few quotes I want to share:

“People love others not for who they are but for how they make them feel”

~ Irwin Federman

and

“You can close your eyes to the things you do not want to see, but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel.”

~ Author unknown

Don't let your feelings go unshared, don't bottle up the words that should flow freely. I leave you with a video clip that I wanted to share with today, its 10 minutes long but well worth your time.

From 1993 the Jimmy Valvano's speech on ESPN enjoy the words and thoughts.

Live a little each day

Laugh a little each day

Cry a little each day

Don't ever give up, don't ever give in.

May your smiles abound.

May your joy lift another spirit.

May you stay hungry and stay foolish!

May your heart be warmed because it always was.

Smiles sent your way this day and always!

Happy Thursday everyone! : )

Some thoughts on sharing a smile, your smile with so many who come within your circle of influence.

Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
