Happy Saturday to you all, I wish you all nothing but the best this Labor Day weekend! I hope you can celebrate with family and friends the meaning of Labor day and the reason we acknowledge the working men and women that make this country strong.
Yes, there are many people who are unemployed 9.6% of the American workforce. If you are one of them, and not by choice my thoughts and prayers go out for your continued employment search.
Never doubt that you will find a job, stay positive and focused on your abilities and project a winner's attitude during your interviews and conversations with prospective employers.
Your smile and your attitude just may be the difference to get you that job.
This Saturday as with every Saturday I take a post from the past to share with you again.
I hope you find it enjoyable and I hope it lends a smile to you. This post is from June 01, 2009.
Inner Strength
A new week, Monday the first day and the best day to understand that no matter what test or trials you have in your life right now.
We have been given all the strength and power to handle it.
We have been placed here not to be torn down and not to suffer but to develop and grow and to contribute. Only the voice inside can tear ourselves down. Only the spirit within us can allow us to feel defeated. That same spirit, yes the voice and inner sense is the same that can drive us to new heights and empower us to be proactive in finding the solutions and in giving us the power to smile.
Never give in my friend, never give up. Drive forward, push ahead and know that we have a purpose and that purpose to help each other, to contribute and to make a difference.
We have the fundamental belief that a smile can and will make a difference in the day of another and help maintain our days and enrich each and every moment. The power of a smile, simple, easy to witness and even easier to give. Pass one on and help another learn its simple power.
Inner Strength. I have 2 quotes and a video. First the quotes; “
God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.”
and
“Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.”
And lastly a video a short study on what kids think inner strength is about. We talk about many things with our kids, stay away from drugs, what is right and wrong. Maybe this week add a little conversation about inner strength. It just may help them when they really need it.
Till Next time smile! : )
To all of you today and everyday
smiles are sent your way! : )
Some thoughts on sharing a smile, your smile with so many who come within your circle of influence.
Till next time....share a smile, make a dream come true and make someone's else a bit happier.
