Happy July 1, 2010 everyone and welcome to another great day!
The next few days I want to share with you some thoughts on the holiday weekend. For some of you you will have a 4 day weekend, others only 3 and if your like me, hey we get Sunday the 4th off.
Others those of you in jobs of service, police, fire and rescue you will be working to serve and protect this great land.
My hats off to you and a heartfelt thanks!
We have so many freedoms in this land and walk these streets and drive these highways with so much care free attitudes. Not a worry or care in the world. We so easily get swayed and angered by our media and talking pundits with ease and get so angry and riled.
This land, our land is free and very brave in the way we carry out our freedom.
It is our home and for some a gateway to riches beyond belief and to others the land of opportunity that their home land could never offer.
My theory on our responsibility to our land and our freedoms.
This land that we exist on has been created by one source, for me I call him God. This land has many riches and it is our duty and responsibility to protect and savor in its riches for years to come.
The very sun that warms us, the stars that help guide us and the soil that allows us to harvest our food to nurture our bodies is under strain. We have the power to make a difference, no we can not clean up the Gulf of its never ending spill of oil, but we can pray and organize campaigns so that this never happens again.
We can't stop the use of fossil fuel and our dependance on it but we can start to look for alternatives and push for our leaders at every level to find cleaner and less dependent fuels for us to exist on.
We can't alter the past but we can make a difference for our tomorrows by starting today.
Live with less hate towards are leaders but become proactive for asking for transparency and sound just action towards our enemies both home and abroad. Don't ever let that enemy become ourselves with naivety and lack of action. Take a stand for our country and ourselves and future generations.
Live, laugh and think each day. Cry, reflect and meditate each day. Pray and give thank at every turn and as always don't forget to smile.
