Flowing Into Friday ~ November 06, 2009

Good day everyone and yes Friday is here. For most of us Friday is a day we gently flow into and yes for others it may be moire frantic.

What ever the flow and pace I wish you all a blessed day, full of joy, gratitude and smiles! Choose we do, all of us how we share our smiles, if we smile and when. A smile in my heart is the single most powerful expression we can share in an instant with another.

Full of joy, full of hope a smile has a great range of power. I hope we all use it from the first impression we give ourselves in that mirror to the first person we see during our daily routine.

Smile and flow with joy and hope into your Friday today.

Yesterday after I posted here on Gather, Make ME Smile Online and Facebook, I checked my email. In that inbox I found a post regarding a fellow Gather member who passed away.

I did not ever get to know Rob Appell who passed away Tuesday but as I read some of your comments and the post he wrote on losing his leg and the struggles. His attitude was everything in that post and in much of his life. I read more this morning and feel like I missed, it is so hard to describe here, I feel like I missed out on knowing someone who knew how to make the best out of a bad situation, no matter what.

I like that in a person.

Life is short and reading more about Rob's accomplishments, as a writer, a poet, a on air radio personality, a business owner. His works will speak on as volumes for others to admire.

We can only hope to have such strength, and hope.

So today as we flow into our Friday, take a minute, one of those 1440 we all have in our days. Send a prayer up to heaven and give thanks to God for sharing Rob Appell with us.

I wish I knew him more........
