Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your Saturday is a special one and I hope you get to play in the snow. Pretty awesome if you love to ski or snow board or any other snow sport.
Snow men are fun to make too.
Most of this post was typed during Friday night. Alas the power went out and so did the heat and I post this today after we checked into a local hotel to keep warm. We are here for 2 days and play it by ear. I hope the electric is turned on we shall see.
I wanted to share with you a post from April 16, 2009 I hope you enjoy it and I hope it stirs some commentary. If nothing else I hope it stirs some solitary thoughts.
Believe and Trust
What do you believe in? I am not talking about religion or anything of a spiritual nature. That is for a more intimate conversation.
No I mean what do you believe in?
We should all believe in the human spirit, the human factor that feeds on the inner soul or intuition some call it. We all have that inner voice, hard to define or explain but you have it. Believe in that inner voice, trust in the sense that inner sense of being. I hope I am not losing you here.
We believe in the human factor, the human spirit that is genuine and good. Yes, there is bad in the world but it was not born to be bad or evil. It developed, handed down by generations or just plain ignored into darkness.
We are born good, kind and imaginative by nature. We learn hate, anger, sadness and develop tools to numb the human spirit.
The smile, we believe and are convinced can change a moment, a life and like sunshine on a new plant, draw out that human spirit and drive it up to new heights.
We trust in you the reader to develop your own game plan for us. We are showing you the playbook, you run the play.
Make a difference in some ones life today, this week and see that human spirit rise.
A smile can and will do just that. Try it, give one to a complete stranger and say hi !
Be the game changer that we know everyone can be if we just try. A Smile!

Flowing Into Friday ~ 02/06/10
Welcome to Friday everyone and Happy Friday to all. We in Pittsburgh are bracing for another winter snow storm 4 to 10".
Most of it will fall late afternoon so the weather guru's say. We shall see some white stuff that is for sure.
This day we also flow into the Super Bowl 44 weekend. The best thing for some is the commercials and family and fun and lots of food. What will be own your plate?
My predictions:
On the TV Commercials: Looking forward to The Dr Pepper commercial this year and Doritos,
On the Plate of Food: Boneless Buffalo wings and Doritos and Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper love that stuff. May throw in some sushi.
On the outcome of the Game: Who I want to win? The Saints! The city has gone through so much in recent and a little sunshine on Sunday with their team winning the Super Bowl could it get better. Who I think will win? The Saints the local community of Miami is even pulling for them as is much of America. Go Saints.
So this Friday as we prepare for fun with family and friends lets all take time to appreciate the moments. Reflect on how great things are at that very moment. Plan to have fun and you will. Set expectations that your weekend will be a great one no matter what happens.
May your days this weekend be filled with joy. May your smiles be brighter as you share them with others.
May the room wonder how good you must feel.
