Ready for a new month?

Ready for a fresh start on life?

Ready for that smile when you look in the mirror this morning?

Are you? Really? I mean really, really ready? Then lets get to work on a brand new day!

On a personal note, yes a request, for prayer and joined encouragement and belief for someone very close and dear to me, my love and partner Janice. See picture on Facebook.

She brings immense amount of smiles to my lips and energizes my heart and soul like no other. Only my 2 children can bring as much to my life and I am so grateful for her and her spirit of love and encouragement.

Today she starts her journey towards a smoke free and nicotine free life. She smoked her last and final cigarette last night and her stock pile of hard candy and fresh fruit has grown.

My request is for any prayers you can send to help her along this journey.

For any idea's or words of encouragement along her path.

To give any energy and karma and love for the both of us as she steps away from the pack of cigarettes to never look back.

In advance....Thank you! May the wind be at your back, the warmth of God shine within your heart and the spirit of never ending possibility run through your mind!

Some Thoughts on a Sunday ~ 08/01/2010

Happy Sunday to you all and Happy August 01, 2010. A beautiful month full of summer, back to school shopping and the start of the NFL and NCAA football season! YEAH! As most of you know I am a Dallas Cowboy fan, living in Pittsburgh, PA. My second favorite team at heart is the Steelers. I enjoyed the Cowboys since 1968 (6 years old) and enjoyed them ever since, even in the lean years. Was it hard getting on that school bus in the 70's when Dallas lost a few Super Bowls (10 and 13) you bet it was.

But I think those years helped to define my character and persistence to never give up or give in to what you believe in or what you want in life.

Never Give up

Some thoughts on never giving up. Why do some people insist that other factors cause them grief and failure. Why do they give up when maybe just around the next corner the door of opportunity would open and all their thoughts, hopes and dreams would become real. Only if they waited or took that extra step.

Some of it is consistency, doing the right things every time you do them.

Some of it is complacency, getting in that comfort zone and just staying put.

The truth of the matter is if your not growing in life your shrinking. Life is all about growth, everything grows, and everything eventually dies. Never quit growing, never stop wanting to learn more and more about the world around you.
