So What Is Gratitude

So let's just say not everyone practices gratitude.

First question could be they just don't know what it means.  Lets define that here:

Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness, from the Latin word gratus ‘pleasing, thankful’,[1] is a feeling of appreciation felt by and/or similar positive response shown by the recipient of kindness[2][3][4], gifts, help, favors, or other types of generosity[5], towards the giver of such gifts.[6][7] 



So far pretty easy to understand yes?

Better to be thankful instead of unthankful.  Better to be pleased instead of displeased.

True?  

Alright maybe its a feeling that what is in it for me to be grateful first?  Hmmm....

Lets see some benefits:


Better to be happy than side right?

So now you understand what it means the word.  Also you see some benefits.

These times we are in are hard, difficult but we are in this together.


Self Esteem

You have to like no... love yourself before you can feel empathy for another.

Love yourself so that you can feel gratitude and obtain the benefits listed above.

What do you truly have to lose.... Sadness, depression anxiety.
